I have about 10-12 players, but as you know, 4 people play at a time. I was wondering how I could set up this tournament so that it won't go by too quickly (aka without finishing the tournament in just 3-4 games) and also by making it fair. Are there any types of tournaments I should use for this game (eg: round robin, single elimination, etc.)? If so, how would I go about making this type of tournament and setting up a bracket or whatever? As you can see, I don't know too much about setting up tournaments so any online resources or links, or if you could post information here, would be really helpful. THANKS!

Me and friend pete have been putting together a beer drinking competition once a year for the past 2 years, its becoming our annual tradition. The last two times were very unorganized and we want this one to be better, there are probably about 11 different events and at least 9 different two person teams. Does anyone know how i can set up this tournament score board to make this years "beerfest" a little more structured then the last two.

I'd like to host a private online Poker tournament for my company, but I'm curious which sites let you do this without having an insane amount of FFP? Also, is it possible to set up a tournament for play money, or do they only offer cash tournaments?

I've been having a few "debates" with my friends about this for a week or two now. The main question is If a card from an old set can be used in type 2 tournaments if it was reprinted in a new set that is allowed, or if the card has to be from that new set? And a link to a site would be nice to show my friends, (they're picky like that.)

There are a few things I would like to know. First what are some good stretchs? The ones I use haven't been warming me up enough. More importantly what should I eat in the 24 hours before the tournament. I usually either eat too much and feel sick or I don't eat enough and run out of energy very quickly. What are some good food/drink choices before a match? I participate in 2 tournaments each month. There are 4 one and a half hour matches consisting of 2 sets within these tournaments.
